CITY HOUSING ANALYSES

The purpose of the interactive map is to provide prospective home buyers with access to 60 comprehensive housing analyses that were generated by the Adkins Residential Home Valuation Analyzer. The comprehensive housing analyses provide a general overview of the housing environment for each city in the Adkins 60-City Home Price Index.

Each comprehensive housing analysis takes into account the median household income amount and the median home price amount for the city, the average cost of debt for a 30-year fully amortized fixed rate mortgage loan, and the median cost for property taxes, maintenance, home owner’s insurance, private mortgage insurance, and closing transactions. In addition, a standard 6% real estate agent brokerage commission fee was incorporated into each comprehensive housing analysis.
